Eric Anthony Creswick Oliver (1899-1927)

Eric Anthony Creswick Oliver was born in 1899, and received his general education at Malvern College. He then entered for the Automobile Engineering Course at Loughborough College, where he was successful in obtaining his diploma. At the conclusion of his college course he took up a position with the Companhia de Diamantes de Angola on the Belgian Congo as Store-keeper and subsequently as Engineer in charge of a steam-driven plant for a diamond mine.

He died of fever in West Africa on 8th January, 1927, at the age of twenty-seven.

He was elected a Graduate of the Institution of Automobile Engineers in 1921.
