Emile Medinger (1884- ) of the Medinger Car and Engine Co

1884 April 21st. Born in Austria the son of Emil Medinger an industrialist

1898 He built his first car at the age of 14 and ran it from his parent's house to the railway station at Gumpoldskirchen, Vienna, where it broke down.

1909 He purchased his first car and in the same year won his first race in the Austrian voiturette category.

1912 Moved to Wolverhampton when Sunbeam engaged some of the best continental drivers

1912 Founded the Medinger Car and Engine Co with premises in Worcester Street, Wolverhampton
