1869 Edward Riley moved his laboratory from Kensington to Finsbury-square

Mr. Riley was one of the pioneers in developing and perfecting methods for the accurate determination of the different constituents present in steel.

1905 Frank William Harbord went into private practice with Edward Riley as consultants

1919 Dissolution of the Partnership between Frank William Harbord and Frederick John Bolt, carrying on business as Metallurgists and Analytical and Consulting Chemists, at 16, Victoria-street, Westminster, and 6, Finsbury-square, in the countv of London, under the style or firm of "EDWARD RILEY & HARBORD." Business carried on by Frank William Harbord.[1]

1922 Frank William Harbord was senior partner

Later became Messrs. Riley, Harbord, and Law.
