Edward Iliffe (1884-1932)

Eng.-Commr. EDWARD ILIFF, R.N., whose death occurred suddenly on 29th September 1932, was born at Cambridge in 1884 and received his technical education at the Royal Naval Engineering College from 1901 to 1906. The whole of his subsequent career was spent as engineer on various naval vessels, and until the time of his death he was in charge of the engine-room complement on H.M.S. "Concord" stationed at Portsmouth.

He was elected a Member of the Institution on 29th January 1932.
