1804 January 24th. Born at Witney the son of Edward Early and his wife Sarah Coxeter.

1841 Birth of son Walter Bush Early

1861 Living at West End, Witney: Edward Early (age 57 born Witney), Woollen Manufacturer employing 160 men, women and children. With his wife Anne Early (age 57 born Witney) and their five children; Anne Early (age 28 born Witney); Harriett Early (age 27 born Witney); Sarah Early (age 25 born Witney); Walter Early (age 19 born Witney), manufacturer; and Margaret Early (age 13 born Witney).[1]

1871 Living at Witney: Edward Early (age 67 born Witney), Blanket Manufacturer. With his wife Ann Early (age 67 born Witney) and their four children; Sarah Early (age 35 born Witney); Thomas C.
