Mechanical engineer of 32 Charing Cross, London. (1847).

1846 Patented an "adaptation of a series of short rails to the wheels of carriages, which rails were linked together id a manner somewhat resembling an endless chain." Each wheel was always to bear on at least one of the rails or links of the chain. [1]
