1932 'Messrs. Davy Brothers, Limited, Park Iron Works, Sheffield, have obtained an important contract of the value of 202,000l., from Messrs. Arcos, Limited, London, for heavy machinery for the manufacture of solid rolled steel wheels for railway rolling stock. The contract is to be executed in conjunction with Messrs. Edgewater Steel Company, Pittsburgh, U.S.A., and Messrs. Taylor Brothers and Company, Limited, Trafford Park, Manchester. The plant will be manufactured in Sheffield and also partly in Glasgow by Messrs. Duncan Stewart and Company, Limited. The plant is to be installed at the Dzerjinsky Works, at Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporjie, and is to include a group of three powerful Davy patent high-speed steam hydraulic forging presses of 3,000, 7,000 and 2,500 tons power, respectively, a high-power wheel rolling mill of the Edgewater type, Bell patents, and electrically-operated machinery for handling the materials between the furnaces, presses and mill.'[1]. The works may now be the Dnieper Metallurgical Combine - DMKD Kamenskoe, Ukraine ?
