1935 Manufacturer of corrugated containers and "pul-through" boxes for transporting fragile articles. Converted into a public company. Issued preference shares to fund expansion[1]
1944 Demand for the company's products continued at a high level; acquired Andrew Ritchie and Son of Glasgow to help supply customers in the North of England and Scotland[2]
1950 Acquired a controlling interest in [Autolex]] of Hampton Wick and Sunbury[3]
By 1955 had a number of subsidiaries[4]:
- Andrew Ritchie and Son of Milngavie and of Bridgeton, Glasgow
- Alfred Kent and Son of Clapham, London
- Autolex of Sunbury
- Charles G. Donald and Co of Glasgow
1956 Agreement to merge with Bowater Fibre Containers[5] forming Bowater-Eburite
