Eastnor Castle: Iron Footbridge

From Graces Guide

at Eastnor Castle, near Ledbury

1828 'On Thursday the 24th ult., the inhabitants of Ledbury were gratified by the inspection of a very handsome wrought-iron bridge, built by Mr. Sealy, according to the design of Mr. T. Holland, architect, both of that place. The bridge is 24 feet long in the span of the arch, and was completely finished with palisading, &c. When fixed on four wheels, it proceeded to Eastnor, the seat of Earl Somers, where it is now fixed across the foot of the water-fall.' [1]

See here for information about the restoration of the bridge in 2020-1 by Barr and Grosvenor.
