  • 1850 E. Wolfe and Co was established in London. They became known as jewellers of high repute.
  • By the end of the 19th century they were known as 'The Tiara Makers', producing over one thousand tiaras.
  • They also made two royal crowns.
  • 1911 They made 'The Imperial Crown of India, created for George V to wear at the Delhi Durbar in 1911, and Queen Alexandra's crown. Many of the tiaras are illustrated in Geoffrey Munn's 'Tiaras - a History of Splendour'.
  • Since then E. Wolfe and Co specialised in bird and animal jewellery of high quality.
