Ernest Sidwell (1879- ) of Condor Motor Co and Condor Motor and Fittings Co, mechanical engineer and inventor of Alton Hall, Allesley, near Coventry.

1879 February 09th. Born the son of William Sidwell, a Bicycle Machinist.

1911 Living at 182 Broad Street Coventry: Ernest Sidwell (age 32 born Kenilworth), Manager Motor Co. With his wife Mary Sidwell (age 34 born Gosport) and their two sons Alfred Sidwell (age 6 born Coventry) and Ronald Sidwell (age 1 born Coventry).[1]
