1938 Duralite was a trademark of the Dura Co., Handforth, Cheshire. Not sure whether there is a connection with other users of the name, such as Zan or this company or the American company of similar name.
1947 Smart and Brown offered these and other products (see advert)
1951 Duralite Limited (in Voluntary Liquidation) of 24-25, Manchester Square, London, manufacturers of fluorescent lamps, petitioned for the winding-up of Electromatic Bar Installations Ltd[1]
1951 Duralite was also a trademark used for a brand of holloware by Zan Ltd
