Dublin Whiskey Distillery Co

From Graces Guide

Jones Road Distillery, Dublin

1872 The Dublin Whiskey Distillery Company Limited was formed, with capital of £100,000, to develop a new distillery in the north of Dublin, by the side of the River Tolka, in order to exploit the expanding market for Irish whiskey.[1]

At the time of Alfred Barnard's visit, the annual output was 560,000 gallons of spirit, though the company claimed their capacity was close to 800,000 gallons.[2]

1889 The company amalgamated with two other Dublin distillers to form the Dublin Distillers Co.
