1881 Living at Reed(?) Street, Eccleston: Donald M. F. Gaskin (age 36 born Caithness), Civil Engineer). With his wife Margaret C. Gaskin (age 29 born Isle of Man) and their children; Katherine C. Gaskin (age 8 born Lancs.); Frederic W. Gaskin (age 7 born Lancs.); Maggie Gaskin (age 4 born Eccleston, Lancs.); and Donald Gaskin (age 10 months born Eccleston, Lancs.). One servant.[1]

1911 Living at 1 Radnor Avenue, Heswall, Cheshire: Donald Macdonald Ford Gaskin (age 66 born Reay, Caithnesshire), Civil Engineer. With his wife Margaret Catherine Gaskin (age 59 born Castletown, Isle of Man). Married 39 years with four children of whom three are alive now.[2]
