Diva Headlight Co

of Bradford
1911 'The Diva headlight, as it is called, has a large front and four others suitably disposed at the back which throw their light on to mirrors, and the light is projected from them in great volume, though without any dazzling effect. A remarkable feature, too, is the reflected image of the filament, which turns sixteen candle-power lamp into one of thirty-two candle-power.'[1]
1912 'The Diva head-light, manufactured at Bradford, is exhibited amongst other accessories. This is in the shape of a globe with five circular glasses fitted at the top, bottom, sides, and front. Four mirrors are so set to coincide with the glasses, and the former reflect the light forward. The lamp, which is about a foot in diameter, is placed dead in front of the radiator, and is illuminated with a single electric bulb.'[2]
