De Havilland Aircraft of Canada
Founded in 1928 as a subsidiary of de Havilland Aircraft (UK) de Havilland Canada was first located at De Lesseps Field in Toronto, before moving to Downsview in 1929.
1962 Part of the Hawker Siddeley Group.
1982 The British Hovercraft Corporation landed a £20 million deal with De Havilland of Canada to supply engine cowling systems for the Dash 8 commuter aircraft.[1]
