1891 Directory (Darwen): Listed as Cotton spinner and manufacturers. Spring Vale; 86,500 spindles, 248/348 twist and weft.[1]

1931 F. Scarisbrick is director and manager for twenty years.[2]

1934 Darwen Spinning Co., Ltd., decided to go into voluntary liquidation, and are shortly to consider offers for the machinery as scrap.[3]
