1817 May. Death of his wife. 'A few day's since died, at Bourton, aged 45, after a long indisposition, greatly beloved and lamented, Mrs. Maggs, wife of Mr. Daniel Maggs, of the iron foundry, at that place.[1]

1825 May. Died. 'Lately died at Bourton, deservedly respected by a large circle of friends, Mr. Daniel Maggs, sen. aged 69 years.'[2]
