DAIMLER 2.5-LITRE CONSORT SALOON
The Daimler Consort Saloon shares the 2.5-litre chassis with the Special Sports model, but with differences in the carburettors, gear ratios, rear axles and brake horse power. The new style sloping fluted radiator is a feature of this model also.
The Consort is an excellent example of first-class coachbuilding craftsmanship and very pleasing to the eye. The dashboard panel illustrated below is in polished figured walnut and has a large glove box, with lockable lid. The instruments include an electric clock, speedometer, petrol gauge, reserve petrol control, oil and ignition warning lights and a temperature gauge.
