1914 Obituary [1]

CYRIL HOLM BISS, born at Dunedin in 1866, died at Christchurch, New Zealand, on the 24th July, 1914.

He was educated at Auckland College, and entered the New Zealand Railway Department in 1884.

In 1887 he was appointed Assistant Engineer at Wellington, and subsequently acted as District-Engineer at Invercargill, Auckland, and Christchurch, where he died of pneumonia, after a short illness.

Mr. Biss was elected an Associate Member of The Institution on the 6th December, 1882.
