From Graces Guide

in Cwmgwrach, near Glyn-Neath

Same as Venallt Ironworks?

1853 'The CWMGWRACH Works.— As stated by us some time since, the Abernant Iron Company have purchased the Cwingwrach iron works. It is needless to observe that under the auspices of so able and energetic a firm as Darby, Fothergill, and Co., we doubt not matters will soon flourish in that neighbourhood. Mr. David Llewellyn, jun. (brother to the well known Mr. Llewellyn, of Pontypool, mineral valuer), has been appointed manager, and Mr Watkin Rhys, of Aberdare, surgeon of the works.'[1]
