Cubit Sparkhall Rundle (c1818-1889), transport superintendent of the East India Railway Co, executive engineer in the Indian Public Works Department, canal agent for the Cis-Sutlej States, and state engineer to the Kapurthala State

1818 Born at Great Yarmouth the son of George Rundle and his wife Rebecca

1858 July 8th. Birth of daughter. 'On the 8th inst., the wife of C. S. Rundle, Esq,, Resident Engineer, East Indian Railway, of a daughter.'[1]

1865 Listed at Calcutta[2]

1889 December 24th. Died and buried the following day at Umritsar, Bengal, India

1890 'Mr. Cubit Sparkhall Rundle, M.I.C.E., died at Amritsar on December 24, aged 72 years, to the regret of a wide circle of friends.'[3]
