Croskey and Co
1853 Dissolution of the Partnership heretofore subsisting in Southampton, and at No. 57, Threadneedle-street, London, between Edward Martineau and Jos. Rodney Croskey under the firm of Martineau Croskey and Co., expired by limitation of time, on the 31st December last. The business will be continued at the same places, by Joseph Rodney Croskey, under the firm of Croskey and Co., and he will collect and pay all debts of the concern.[1]
1857 Dissolution of the Partnership between Joseph Rodney Croskey and James Henry Wolff and Isaac Serrill Oakford, carrying on business at No. 67, Gracechurch-street, in the city of London, as General Forwarding, Shipping, and Insurance Agents and Bankers, Brokers, and General Merchants, under the style or firm of Croskey and Company, so far only as regards the said Isaac Serrill Oakford, who will continue the General Ship Brokerage business of the late firm.[2]
1860 The company was responsible for a survey of the route of a possible North Atlantic Telegraph via the Faroes Islands and Iceland.
1861 Dissolution of the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, Joseph Rodney Croskey and James Henry Wolff, trading as Merchants and Shipping Agents, at No. 84, King William-street, city, London, and at the town of Southampton, under the firm of Croskey and Co., as far as regards James Henry Wolff, in London, and as between the said Joseph Rodney Croskey and James Henry Wolff, at Southampton.[3]
