1879 Business established by James Crockett and Charles Jones

1891 Harry Crockett, Fred Crockett, and Frank Jones, sons of the founders, joined the firm

1897 Mr J. H. C. Crockett (Messrs. Crockett and Jones, Northampton) represented the firm at the Shoe Trade dinner in London[1]

1910 Expansion of the factory

1911 Clifden Crockett joined the firm.

1912 Percy Jones joined the firm, where he was to work for 67 years

WWI Maker of boots for the services

1927 Gilbert Jones, son of Percy, joined the firm.

1931 Sir James Crockett died; his son Leonard was a dentist; other sons had died in WWI.[2]

1935 Further extension of the factory

1948 Crockett and Jones Ltd was incorporated to carry on the shoe manufacture business of Percy George Jones and Gilbert Charles Jones.

1990 Queen's Award for Export

1997 Opened first retail establishment, in Jermyn Street, London
