1914 Spinners and manufacturers of jute, flax and hemp. Employees 4,000 to 5,000. [1]

1920 Acquired by Jute Industries. Cox Brothers were the largest jute manufacturing concern in Dundee, employing betweem 5,000 and 6,000 workers[2]
