1946 A. C. Cossor formed a new subsidiary Cossor Radar Ltd.[1]

1945 Secondary radar for air traffic control became a key area of development for Cossor.

1947 The chairman claimed the company was the only one anywhere in the world to concentrate on developing civilian radar[2]

1948 Radar Control at Douglas Harbour, I.O.M.

1949 Supplied marine radar to a number of shipping companies[3]

1949 Due to over expansion of the company had to close the Wren Mill, Chadderton factory[4]

1957 Renamed as Cossor Radar and Electronics Ltd[5]
