Cornelius Parish (1875-1934)

Cornelius Parish was born in 1875, and served his apprenticeship with Stephenson and Co., of Preston.

At its conclusion he became Proprietor of the Preston Motor Garage and Engineering Co., and subsequently General Manager and Secretary of Hull City Garage, Ltd.

From 1919 onwards he was Governing Director of Cornelius Parish, Ltd., Hull, of which business he was the founder.

He died on 30th November, 1934, at the age of 59.

He was elected an Associate Member of the Institution in 1920.
