1825 Listed as engravers to calico printers[1]

1841 'Messrs. Copley, Barrow and M'Kinley, cotton spinners, Jersey-street, and Messrs. Pooley and Co., manufacturers, in the same place, were presented for a public nuisance in Jersey and German-streets, occasioned by a quantity of dust and cotton being emitted from the dust-blower of their mill, and falling in those streets. - Amerced in £20 each, if not abated within a month.'[2]

1842 Partnership dissolved - Copley, Barrow and M'Kinley, Manchester, engravers to calico printers, so far as regards J. G. Copley[3]
