1896 Obtained a concession for the new ports of Bruges and Zeebrugge.[1]

50% of the capital of this company was subscribed by the City of Bruges, the other 50% by Messrs Coiseau and Cousin and other private persons. The works started in 1896 and continued until 1905.

Now Maatschappij van de Brugse Zeevaartinrichtingen or M.B.Z.[2]
