1859 Colthurst, Symonds and Co were one of the largest brick manufacturers in the Huntworth area (near Bridgwater).
1881 Colthurst, Symonds and Co's Crossways Brick and Tile Works was the largest brick works in the Huntworth area.
1887 By this date Colthurst, Symonds and Co operated three yards, namely: Crossway, Fursland's Somerset Yard, and New Yard.
