1965 In view of the limited ability to expand at Bridge Foundry, acquired Cambrian Castings of Hirwaun, Abderdare, to provide extra capacity. Subsidiaries also included Varatio-Strateline Gears, and John Tann Ltd, which was being sold 
1977 Acquired by American Standard Inc
