Received training with Plenty and Son, Marine Engineers, and W. H. Massey, M.Inst.C.E., Queen Anne's Gate, Westminster. Chief Works: Engaged on Blackwall Tunnel, Dover Harbour Works, Great Northern and City Railway; Taikoo Dock and Engineering Co., Hong-Kong; Hydro-Electric Works in Japan. Club: Thatched House. War Services.— In charge of Mechanical Section in the Directorate of Inland Waterways and Docks, War Office; latterly Director of Inland Waterways and Docks; Advisory Committee, Dock Equipment Disposal Board.
