Born the son of George Arden, Merchant.

1840 Married at Cheltenham to Amelia Kennedy. Resident at Marypole Villa.

1848/49 Mayor of Exeter.[1]

1851 Living at 1 Hills Court House, Exeter: Christopher Arden (age 53 born Exeter), Alderman and Landed Proprietor. With wife Amelia and three children.[2]

1864 April 24th. Died, of Marypole Villa.
