1949 CHILTON ELECTRIC PRODUCTS LTD. Chilton Shavers[1]

1965 Merged with William Sanders and Co (Wednesbury).[2] It was effectively a reverse takeover of Chilton Electric by William Sanders and Co.

1965 The company was split into two operating subsidiaries Sanders Switchgear and Chilton Electric Products.[3]

1966 Acquired Telio, a manufacturer of transformers and other wound components.[4]

1967 Chilton Electric, the Hungerford-based firm which takes in Sanders Switchgear of Wednesbury - annual statement from the chairman. Mr. A. R. Ward.[5]

1969 Acquired by Drake and Gorham, Scull.[6]

1969 Drake and Gorham, Scull combined Chilton Electric with its other subsidiary Ottermill Switchgear.[7]

2000 Chilton Electric is a leading member of the Glen Dimplex Group; one site was at Dunleer. [8]
