Charles Plucknett

From Graces Guide

1904 PLUCKNETT, Charles J., 29, Poland Street, London, W. Car: 8-h.p. M.M.C. Total distance travelled since becoming a motorist: 5,000 miles. Hobbies: Cycling, fishing. Hopes to see the road question taken up, and would not object to pay a small tax for the purpose of improving the surface of all country roads. Is of opinion that the new Act will prove beneficial to all motorists, inasmuch as it will do away with a lot of haphazard convictions for furious driving. Strongly advocates the tests for drivers, and a license when proficient. [1]
