Charles Mintram (1825-1885) of Wilkes and Co

1851 Living at Prestwick Street, Portsea: Charles Mintram (age 27 born Ealing, Hants), Boiler Maker. With his wife Mary Mintram (age 24 born Southampton) and their four children; Mary Jane Mintram (age 6 born Southampton); Chas A. Mintram (age 4 born Southampton); Sarah F. Mintram (age 2 born Landport, Portsea); and George Hy Mintram (age 5 months born Landport, Portsea).[1]

1861 His daughter Mary Jane marries his later business partner Thomas Kember Wilkes

1885 June 12th. Died, of 30 Cosham Street, Landport, Portsmouth. Probate to his widow Mary Mintram.

1885 October 14th. Death of his wife Mary. Probate to James William Carpenter, Shipwright.
