1832 Mr. Griffin died when his son, Mr. Charles Griffin (1819-1862), was only a boy of 13, and it was carried on by his brother, Mr. J. J. Griffin, until Mr. Charles Griffin was old enough to join.
1862 Dissolution of the Partnership between Charles Griffin and Henry Bohn, carrying on business as Booksellers and Publishers, at Stationers' Hall-court, London, by the death of the said Charles Griffin. All debts due to or from the late copartnership will be received and paid by the trustees, and executors of the said Charles Griffin, who will continue to carry on the said business under the firm of Charles Griffin and Co.[1]
