Charles Emmott (1861-1910), Chairman of Robert Stephenson and Co, Elswick Steamship Co, Cleveland and Durham Electric Power Co and Blake Boiler, Wagon and Engineering Co, and Director of The Northern Counties Electricity Supply Co, Richard Hill and Co and The Scottish Life Assurance Co.

1904 He succeeded John Walker as Chairman of Robert Stephenson and Co.

1904 Lady Constance Emmott opened the Graving Dock at Hebburn-on-Tyne.

1910 Died. Buried service took place at Durham Cathedral and he was interned at Inverary. [1]
