1964 Obituary[1]

"We regret to record the death, on October 22nd, of Mr Charles Edward Tuck, who had been in charge of the Southampton depot of the Marconi International Marine Company Ltd. Mr. Tuck who was 65, had served Marconi for nearly forty-five years, having gone to sea as a radio officer in 1920. After experience in cargo and passenger ships her came ashore in 1925, and was engaged at various depots, including Gibraltar, until he was appointed to take charge at Southampton in 1946."
