1835 Freedom of the City admitted - Clothmaker

1851 Living at 82 Cardogan Place, Chelsea: Charles B. Courtney (age 37 born Stockwell, Surrey), Coachmaker. With his wife Eliza Courtney (age 29 born St. Georges, Middlesex). Three servants.[1]

1885 Concerning his estate. 'late of 37, Rutland-gate, and 66, Chandos-street, Covent-garden, both in the county of Middlesex, coachmaker, deceased (who died on the 7th day of November, 1884)'[2]
