1966 Obituary[3]
"We regret to record that Mr. C. A. Atchley, O.B.E., honorary president and formerly managing director of The Harland Engineering Company Ltd., died in Reading on June 18. He was eight-five years of age. Mr. Atchley was one of three engineers who formed the partnership in 1903 from which The Harland Engineering Company developed. He received the O.B.E. for his work with the Ministry of Munitions in the First World War."
