CHARLES ALFRED TRERY, born on the 1st February, 1854, died on the 28th January, 1916.

In his earlier years he was engaged in Sweden and Portugal on railway survey and construction, water supply and other work.

In 1887 he went out to South America, where he spent the remainder of his active career occupied on railways in Brazil and Argentina. He was last engaged on the port works at Galvan, Bahia B1anca.

Mr. Trery was elected an Associate Member on the 6th December, 1887, and was transferred to the class of Members on the 8th November, 1892.
