CHARLES ALFRED HASBROUCK, born at Ithncn, Kew York, on the 31st July, 1864, died at Pasadena, California, on the 1st February, 1910.
Graduating from Cornell university in 1884, he joined the staff of the Detroit Bridge and Iron Company, serving subsequently with the King Bridge Company and the American Bridge Company of New York, of which he became Contracting Manager in 1904. His career as a bridge and structural engineer extended over a period of 24 yews.
He was elected a Member of The Institution on the 2nd February, 1904.
