Cecil Henry New 1868-1932 born in Dulwich, brother of George Hedley New.

1887 Sat 28th May saw the 1st edition of the Chemical Trade Journal, edited by George E. Davis. 73,75, & 77, Princes Street, Manchester

1888, Cecil began working in newly established chemical labs for George Edward Davis. Also Feb - Sept 1888 he lived at the home of George Davis.

Christmas 1888 Alfred R. Davis joined the business.

By 1890, Cecil was editing The Chemical Trade Journal.

1891c; Border at 160 Bury North Road, Cheetham. Occupation; Analytic Chemist

Left the journal in 1892 to take up employment with Clark's Coffee.

1901c; The Nook, Irlam. Lancs. Occupation; Managing Director, Clarkes Coffee Extract. Optimus Works, Queens Road, South Lambeth.

1911c; Mill House, Runhall, Norfolk, Occupation; Fellow of Institute of Chemistry and Technical Journalist (Trade; Chemical Trade, motor industry)

1932 Died in Norfolk.
