1878 Partnership change. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, John Jordan Aris, Manfred Powis Bale, and James Cartwright Powis, carrying on business as Firewood Munufacturers and Merchants, at the Firewood Factory, Pagnell-street. New Cross, in the county of Surrey, under the style or firm of Cartwright, Jordan, and Company, has been dissolved, by mutual consent, so far as regards the said James Cartwright Powis, as and from the 2nd day of February, 1878. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said John Jordon Aris and Manfred Powis Bale....'[1]
