Carsfad Power Station

Part of the Galloway hydro scheme’s electricity generation plants.

This power station receives water from Carsfad Loch, and is a major component of Stage II of the Galloway Hydro-Electric Scheme. The equipment installed is identical with that at Earlstoun Power Station, being 2x6,000 kW generators.[1]
