Callander and Oban Railway

1865 Company was incorporated to construct a line from from Oban to the Dunblane, Doune and Callander. Length 72 miles.

1868 Engineer is B. and E. Blyth.[1]

1889 Engineer is Thomas M. Barr.[2]

1880 Railway opened and became part of the Caledonian Railway [3]

1908 The line is 99.5 miles in length, and is maintained and worked by the Caledonian Railway Company [4]

1923 Became part of London, Midland and Scottish Railway [5]
