1869 Mr C. Whitehouse of Bridge Town, Cannock. Was an employee of Messrs Gilpin the celebrated auger makers.[1]

By 1881 he was in business for himself

1930s Cornelius Whitehouse and Sons of Cannock were edge tool makers.

1967 Cornelius Whitehouse and Sons (1963) Ltd was in voluntary liquidation[2]
