(Blue Funnel Line), 1908-1909; Substation Engineer-in-Charge with Glasgow Corporation Electricity Department, 1939-1912; Electrical Engineer to Scottish Boiler Insurance Co., Ltd., Glasgow, 1912-1919. Employed at present by Crompton and Co., Ltd., Electrical Engineers, Chelmsford, as Engineer-in-Charge, Works Contract Department. Paper read before Association of Mining Electrical Engineers, awarded Association's First Prize, also " Russell " Special Prize.
