1961 Factory moved from London to Brownhills (near Walsall), location of much of the parent company's facilities[2]

1972 Crabtree was acquired by Ever Ready

1978 Maker of emergency and amenity luminaires, of Staffordshire. Acquired from Berec Group by Crompton Parkinson as part of Hawker Siddeley's expansion of its lighting business.[3]
